Gator Points Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information Gator Points stores and how it is used.

Information we store

• Apple account identifier — When you sign in with Apple, we store only a unique user ID provided by Apple. We do not store or use your Apple ID or iCloud email; we never use it even when Apple allows you to share it. The user ID is used to identify your account, link your boxes and modifiers to you, and prevent abuse.
• Session data — We may store session tokens so you stay signed in. These are used only to authenticate your requests to our servers.
• Instagram username — The username you enter in the app (e.g. for receiving points) is stored so we can attribute points to that username and show it on the leaderboard. We do not access your Instagram account or any Instagram data; you simply type a username.
• Points and leaderboard — Points earned for each username are stored and displayed on the public leaderboard. Leaderboard data is visible to all app users.
• Usage and purchase data — We store data needed to run the app: how many daily boxes you have, which modifiers you have and when they expire, box open history (e.g. usernames and points awarded), and records of in-app purchases (e.g. transaction IDs) for verification and support.

How we use this information

• To provide the app (points, leaderboard, modifiers, box refills, and daily boxes).
• To verify in-app purchases with Apple and to prevent fraud or abuse.
• To enforce limits (e.g. daily boxes per user) and to operate the service reliably.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not use your information for advertising or for building profiles about you for third parties. We do not access your Instagram account; the app only uses the usernames you type in.

Data storage and security

Data is stored on our servers (and associated databases). We use industry-standard practices to keep the service secure. No system is completely secure; we do not collect sensitive data beyond what is needed to run the app.
